Baseball Season Ends for the Reds after loss to Warriors

The Cedar Reds baseball season came to an end Friday morning after a loss to the Snow Canyon Warriors falling 11-1 for the second straight day.  Kolby White drove in the lone Cedar Run with a Sacrifice Fly driving in Brock Anderson who reached via Hit by pitch.

Baseball loses Game 1 of series to Snow Canyon

In the state tournament format this year each of 16 teams will compete in a 3 game head to head series at a home site.  Cedar being the #15 seed played at Snow Canyon this evening, falling in game 1 by a score of 11-1.  The Warrior bats were just too much for the Reds

The Cedar Reds offense took full advantage of every opportunity to put up runs on Senior Day Collecting 13 hits and 6 walks as well as 2 Tiger errors, the Reds crossed home plate a total of 17 times, leaving only 3 runners on base the entire game.  The Reds took an early 2-0 lead

Reds can’t gain ground on the Flyers
